SkyWest Airlines Booking Classes

United Airlines

United Global First - Flat-bed seats that recline up to full 6-foot and also consists of 6-inch bed. The seats also contain Back Cycler motion system for lumbar support and back stimulation. The United Airlines also provides complimentary Turn-down service with sleeping cushion (upon request) and complimentary duvet and pillows.  

United Business First - The seats are arranged in 180-degree flat-bed configuration for comfort and convenience on all 747, 757-200, 767, 777 and 787 aircrafts and illuminated seat controls for easy adjustment in a darkened cabin and complimentary duvet and pillows are also provided.

United Business Class – These are spacious and comfortable seats for business class travelers who expect to be ready for their meetings on landing.

Economy Plus - Extra legroom for working and unwinding in Economy Plus Class. The seats are located in the front few rows, including bulkheads, and over wing exit rows of the economy cabin and have 2 inches more recline and at least 5 inches of additional seat pitch (6 inches on some aircraft) totaling 4-7 inches of recline (aircraft dependent) and approximately 36 inches of pitch.

Economy - United Economy seats are available on all aircraft, and usually have a pitch of 31 inches and recline of 2-5 inches (aircraft dependent). All economy seats feature an adjustable headrest.

American Airlines

Main Cabin Extra - Seats are located in front of the Main Cabin and offered on most flights, subject to availability. Six inches of additional legroom and comfortable seats

Business Class - Six-way Adjustable Leather Headrest and increased recline with 58" - 61" pitch. Ergonomic and motorized seat controls and motorized and angled lie-flat seats. Cushion width from 20" - 21" and offers additional legroom.

Premium Economy - A spacious environment with more legroom along with wider adjustable leather seats with extendable foot, leg and head rests.

Alaska Air

First Class -  Seats in the first class cabin of Alaska flights feature five inches of recline, adjustable headrests, and more legroom, which allows the passengers to get some work done, or to take rest peacefully.

Preferred Plus - The seats have more legroom and comfortable seats with easy seat access. The seat pitch of Preferred Plus is in between 36-40 inches and reclines up to 3 inches. On select flights, the exit rows and row 6 of the main cabin have been designated as Preferred Plus seats.

Delta Airlines

Delta One - In-flight bedding on 180-degree flat-bed seats and the bedding includes an oversized white comforter and hypoallergenic, down-alternative pillows. Wake even more refreshed with a lumbar pillow on flights longer than 12 hours.

First/Business Class - Comfortable seats and spacious legroom to stretch and relax

Delta Comfort Plus - Dedicated overhead bin space, extra legroom, Curl up with a pillow and a blanket, and block out sights and sounds with eyeshades and earplugs.

SkyWest Airlines Online Check In

American Airlines - American Airlines online check-in opens 24 hours before scheduled international flight departure and closes 90 minutes before departure.

United Airlines - United Airlines online check in is available starting 24 hours before your scheduled departure.

Alaska Airlines - Alaska Airline online check in opens 24 hours before scheduled departure and closes one hour prior to the scheduled flight departure. Passengers should print the boarding pass.

Delta Airlines - Delta Airlines online check in opens 24 hours before scheduled departure flight.

SkyWest Airlines Airport Check In

American Airlines

• For flights within the United States, the check in counter at airport opens 45 minutes before the scheduled departure.

• For flights to or from airports outside of the United States, the check in counter at airport opens 60 minutes before the scheduled departure.

• Passengers, who are departing from Caracas, Venezuela, should check-in 90 minutes prior to your scheduled flight departure.

• Passengers, who are departing from Dublin, Ireland and Buenos Aires, Argentina, should check-in 75 minutes prior to your scheduled flight departure.

• Passengers, who are departing from Maracaibo, Venezuela and St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands should check-in 90 minutes prior to your scheduled flight departure.

United Airlines

For flights within U.S (Guam, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands):

• Passengers, who are planning to arrive without checked in baggage, should arrive at the airport at least 60 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.

• Passengers, who are planning to arrive with checked in baggage, should arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.

• For International Flights -Passengers with or without checked in baggage should arrive at the airport at least 120 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.

Check-in for flights within U.S (Guam, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands):

Without checked baggage - The minimum check-in time for passengers without checked baggage is 30 minutes prior to departure, except for San Juan. The passengers, who are traveling to San Juan should arrive at 45 minutes prior to departure, and the travelers, who are traveling to Guam, should arrive at 60 minutes prior to departure.

With checked baggage - For all airports within the U.S. and Puerto Rico, the minimum check-in requirement for travelers with checked baggage is 30 minutes prior to departure.

Boarding closes 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time for flights within the U.S., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Boarding closes 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time for flights out of Guam.

Delta Airlines

Passengers should arrive at the boarding gate at least 15 minutes before departure time for a domestic flight and 45 minutes if you are traveling on an international flight.

SkyWest baggage allowance is different for all its partner airlines

American Airlines

Checked in baggage - Passengers are allowed to carry 10 bags for domestic, transatlantic and transpacific American flights.

• If the passengers are travelling to / through / from Mexico / Caribbean / Central America South America and Brazil, the checked in baggage allowance is up to 5 bags.

• For all regions, the checked baggage allowance in dimensions should not be bigger than 62 in / 158 cm and weight should not exceed 50 lbs / 23 kgs

• Excludes Brazil, the checked in baggage allowance should not be bigger than 62 in / 158 cm and weight should not exceed 70 lbs / 32 kgs

• First and Business Class, AAdvantage Executive Platinum and oneworld Emerald members are allowed to carry checked in baggage up to 70 lbs / 32 kgs at no extra cost.

Carry-on baggage - The passengers are allowed to carry one bag and one personal item on board. The personal item must be smaller than your carry-on baggage (like a purse, briefcase or laptop bag) and fit under the seat.  The Carry-on baggage shouldn’t exceed 22 x 14 x 9 inches / 23 x 36 x 56 centimeters (including handles and wheels).

United Airlines

Carry-on baggage - The maximum dimensions for a carry-on bag are 9 inches x 14 inches x 22 inches (22 cm x 35 cm x 56 cm), including handles and wheels. The maximum dimensions for personal item, such as a shoulder bag, backpack, laptop bag or other small item, are 9 inches x 10 inches x 17 inches (22 cm x 25 cm x 43 cm).

Checked in Baggage - The maximum exterior dimension (length + width + height) of standard checked baggage is 62 inches (158 cm), including handles and wheels.

United Economy Class - Passengers in the United Economy Class are allowed to carry 50 lbs (23Kg) of Checked in Baggage on board.

United Business/ United Business First/United First and United Global First Class - Passengers are allowed to carry 50lbs (32Kg) of Checked in Baggage on board.

Note: The maximum weight for checked baggage is based on the class of service and on the traveler's Mileage Plus Premier Status at the time of check-in.

Delta Airlines

Delta One, First/Business Class - Passengers are allowed to carry 70 lbs (32 kg) and should not weigh more than 62 inches (157 cm) as checked in baggage.

Main Cabin - Passengers are allowed to carry 50 lbs (32 kg) and should not weigh more than 62 inches (157 cm) as checked in baggage.

Cabin baggage - Passengers are allowed to carry one piece of cabin baggage or laptop bag or a handbag on-board at no extra charge. No bag should exceed 45 inches or 114cm in combined length, width and height. The dimensions should not exceed 56cm x 35cm x 23cm.
