Garuda Indonesia is the flag carrier of Indonesia, commenced it operations since 1949 and headquartered in Jakarta. The airline operates  fleet of 134 aircrafts comprising 2 units of Boeing 747-400, 11 units of Airbus A330-300, 11 units of Airbus A330-200, 5 units of Boeing 737 classic (300/500 series), 76 units of Boeing 737-800NG, 15 units of CRJ1000 NextGen, 8 units of ATR 72-600 and 6 units of Boeing 777-300ER. Currently the carrier flies to 64 destinations, among which 55 are domestic while 20 are international cities. Garuda Indonesia is operating codeshare agreement with more than a dozen major airlines.

Garuda Indonesia Booking Classes

Garuda Indonesia booking is available for three different travel classes:

First class - Eight luxurious private suites with 1-2-1 configuration are available. Each suit equipped with ergonomic seat that can be converted into fully flat beds with mattress duvet and pillows.

Business class - 38 spacious and ergonomic seats are available. Each seat is designed with 43 inch pitch and 21.2 inch width that can be converted into flat beds allowing passengers to enjoy the comfortable flight.

Economy class - The seats are comfortable and reclining and the passengers enjoy the In-flight entertainment service during the flight

Garuda Indonesia online check in is available for a seamless flying experience and also the traveler can print their own boarding pass.

Garuda Indonesia online check-in is available from 24 hours to 4 hours before departure except for departure city of Jakarta (CGK) to domestic flight destination. 

Passengers departing from Jakarta (CGK) to the domestic flight destination can check-in through online from 24 hours to 2 hours before departure.

Domestic flights - Passengers should check-in at least 60 minutes before scheduled flight departure. 

International flights - Passengers should check-in at least 90 minutes before flight departure.

Garuda Indonesia Baggage Allowance

Passengers are allowed to carry the baggage as mentioned below.

• First class - 50 Kg

• Business class - 40 Kg

• Economy class - 30 Kg

Regardless of class all passengers are allowed to carry 7 Kg as carry-on baggage, with the overall dimensions of 115 cm.
