Alitalia Airlines Booking Classes

Alitalia Airlines booking is available for three different travel classes:

Economy class - Comfortable seats with good seat room and complimentary food and beverage service

Premium economy class - Maximum 17 to 24 reclining seats are available in this class. The seats have reclined ability of 120 degree with 40% more leg space than economy class.

Bridge business class - Ergonomically designed Recaro seats which are upholstered in leather for maximum comfort. Limited number of seats (4 seats/row) for better privacy

Business class - Fully flat bed with massage function comes with pleasing lighting for relaxation.

Alitalia and Avianca Brasil announce a code-share agreement

Avianca Brasil and Alitalia have signed code-share agreement. The shared network will include 21 national and international destinations in connection with Alitalia services to/from São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. The agreement will expand its connectivity for travelers arriving in the country with the Italian airline. Among other facilities, Alitalia guests will now also be able to fly to their desired destination in Brazil with a unique ticket, checking-in once at the departure airport for the entire journey, and collecting the checked baggage at the end of their trip in the arrival airport.

Alitalia Check In & Flight Status

Alitalia online check-in opens 2 hours prior to the flight departure for international flights and 1 hour for domestic flights. However, Alitalia online check-in service is available at limited airports only.

Alitalia Online Check In

STEP 1: Enter your name, your code for boarding, and an identification which can be the Alitalia PNR number or the booking reference.

STEP 2: Select seats for all the booking made under the allocated Alitalia PNR number or booking reference.

STEP 3: Print your boarding pass and your Alitalia online check in is done.

For airport check in, guests should arrive at least 3 hours before for international Alitalia flight booking and 2 hours before for domestic booking.

Alitalia Flight Status Updates

Passengers with confirmed Alitalia flight booking can check their booked flight status update with ease by just entering the flight number and departure time.

Alitalia Baggage Allowance

Alitalia baggage allowance differs as per booked travel class. Each baggage can have a maximum size of 158 cm (the sum of height + width + depth) and a maximum weight of 23 or 32 kg, depending on the travel class and destination.

Alitalia checked baggage allowance for economy class is 23 kgs of 1 piece, Premium Economy is 23 Kgs of 2 Pieces, and Business Class is 32Kg of 2 pieces.

Alitalia Baggage Allowance policy doesn’t allow to carry the below listed items:
