Nestled beyond the old city walls, the Museo de Bellas Artes is Valencia's unsung cultural treasure. If you go inside this blue-domed building, you will find centuries of Spanish art, as you will discover gothic altarpieces, and prominent dark passages of Goya's brush strokes. There are plenty of masterpieces by EI Greco, Velazques, Sorolla and Murillo presenting scenes that shine in the absence of darkness in fidelity, struggle, beauty and light. One of the galleries even features Sorolla's warm Valencian beach scenes, almost convincing you the Mediterranean sun is flooding into the room.
