Middle East
Are you tired of your monotonous routine? Wish to take a break from the constant hustle and bustle? Go camping! The wilderness will hit the refresh button of your life like nothing else. The experience of living under the stars, sitting beside the campfire, relishing barbecued food, and spending some quiet moments alone or with loved ones is bound to break the humdrum.
Where to camp, you wonder? Well, in middle-east alone there numerous places where you can spend some delightful time.
The gorgeous landscape of Wadi Rum is an ideal campsite. Bedouin-styled camping is very popular in this area. You can also indulge in rock climbing or hiking activities when here. Another site famous for camping in Jordan is Sharhabil Ben Hassneh Eco Park with its biking and walking trails.

Oman is accommodating when it comes to camping as most areas are perfectly okay with odd tents cropping up. It is, of course, home to many beautiful camping spots like the White Beach at Fins, Mughsayl in Salalah. But Yiti Beach is just perfect for getting away from your drab routine.
Egypt’s unique geography has given rise to many picturesque camping spots. You can choose from Siwa Oasis, Ras Mohammed to Ras Shaitan; all of them are unique in their respect. St. Catherine is home to two peaks, Mount Sinai and Mount Catherine which are excellent camping spots. They offer spectacular views and solitude along with challenging climbing experience.

If you love having a flowing river around your camping spot, this is just the perfect spot for you. Surrounded by a calm green forest spend some quiet time listening to the musical sound of flowing water. Another serene location is Chouf ideal for a peaceful and beautiful setting.

This location with human-made lakes is popular, especially during the winter season. It has also gained popularity as it is well-equipped with public facilities including bathrooms and a grocery shop. If you are looking forward to a place a bit away from the city, the dunes of Ras Al Khaimah is perfect for you.

If the adrenaline junkie in you is looking for outdoor activities, then this place is for you. You can indulge in rock climbing, riding quad bikes, and more at Thumamah Desert. The kids can also have the fun of their own with camel rides and bouncy castles. Other popular places in Saudi Arabia are Asir National Park and Jabal Soodah.
Jebel Al-Dukhan is the tallest mountain in Bahrain. It’s lower levels are famous for a camping experience. The beautiful mountain and the views it offers are utterly delightful. You can venture into the Al Areen Wildlife Park and Al Jazeer beach while you are here.
